Does it work offline?
Yes. Projects, slurries, references and calculations are local-first. Purchases, restore, update checks and external links require connectivity; Firebase Analytics is disabled in this release.
Does SlurryBase send my engineering records?
Your projects, slurry inputs, calculations and backups remain on your device. Files leave SlurryBase only when you explicitly export a PDF or CSV, create a backup, or use the operating-system share sheet.
What provider data is used?
Firebase Analytics is disabled, so no usage, screen, app-instance or advertising-ID events are sent. Sentry may receive crash stacks plus app, device and OS metadata for diagnostics only and is configured not to include project, slurry, calculation, backup, export, purchase credential or direct user data. RevenueCat and the app stores process only purchase and entitlement identifiers needed to buy or restore Pro.
Is data used for ads or tracking?
SlurryBase does not sell data or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How do I protect my records?
Use Settings → Backup & restore to share a JSON backup before changing devices or uninstalling.
Are reference values suitable for design?
No. They are source-cited typical values for comparison and screening. Verify design decisions independently.
Which settling head-loss method does SlurryBase use?
The automatic policy uses equivalent fluid below the critical LDV, a disclosed transition blend through the LDV safety band, and GIW 4-component where its source-audited input policy applies. Outside that policy, uncorrected equivalent fluid remains an equivalent-fluid screening fallback. Durand and the simplified two-regime settling estimate are comparison/manual options. The full DHLLDV framework is not implemented.
Can calculation results be used directly for design?
No. Results are indicative engineering estimates. Review the displayed applicability limits, assumptions, citations, comparison status, and warnings; verify them against project standards and obtain expert review before design or operational decisions.
How do I restore Pro?
Open Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases using the same store account.
